The Rockingham Basketball Association would like to welcome Rob Beveridge to the club as the new High-Performance Manager.

Flames General Manager Dean Horsington said “this appointment is a significant addition to the Rockingham basketball community and will benefit every player and coach in our association. Rob has a passion for both coach and player development and with his experience will shape our talent and development programs for the future’’

‘’I am really excited about returning home to Perth to join The Rockingham Flames” Rob said. “Having the chance to be a part of an association that is in a significant growth area in the West and has big plans moving forward, was too good an opportunity to pass up. I am extremely passionate about developing programs, in particular Coach Education. To coach talented young players and mentor their coaches in enabling them to reach their potential, is incredibly rewarding. I look forward to the opportunities that will come with this position which will shape the basketballers of our future’’

Rob is a published author and travels the world running elite coaching programs. His success speaks for itself having won the 2010 NBL championship with the Perth Wildcats, Commonwealth champions – gold medal, and FIBA world champions – gold medal, as well as multiple national junior championships across his career.

Rob will keep his New Zealand Southland Sharks commitment of coaching in 2022, and work remotely for the Flames during this time.
