We are a Basketball Association by the community, for the community!
Established in 1992, The Rockingham Flames boast some of the best Domestic, Development, WABL and NBL1 programs in the state.
Thanks to countless work from our volunteers, staff and the wider community, 32 years later we are stronger and bigger than ever.
INTEGRITY | LOYALTY | TRUST | RESPECT | PRIDE
Domestic Competitions
Our Domestic competition is run primarily out of Mike Barnett Sporting Complex and sister venue Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex.
More than 300 teams compete each season in our competition while mostly representing 13 domestic clubs, there are still plenty of independently registered teams participating.
These numbers are nearly two times what we facilitated 5 years ago and are constantly growing.
WABL
From strength to strength our WABL program sees more than 28 teams of Rockingham Flames players represent us against the state each season. This is inclusive of 2 senior Championship teams, which are closely connected between both WABL and NBL1 programs.
An outstanding display of skill as our players compete against teams from 13 other Associations from around the state.
NB1 West
Our NBL1 West campaign sees the Sinclair McDonald Rockingham Flames compete around the state over the course of 5 months each year.
An elite program of Athletes including imports for both teams sees, the Flames put their best foot forward season after season.
After a winning campaign for our winning team in 2019, prior to a break for the West Coast Classic Season due to COVID, the Sinclair Family McDonald's men won the 2022 NBL1 West Championship and then a week later went on to win the inaugural 2022 NBL1 National Championship.
The Flames men and women are both on the hunt for their next flag in 2024.
