The first session of domestic coaching development kicked off at Mike Barnett Sports Complex on Sunday 22nd February 2026 with close to 50 attendees.
NBL1 West Women's head coach and player-coach development manager David Morrell offered a free session to all coaches at domestic and WABL level with a structured framework to improve training, culture and game day processes.
Beginning with a framework outline and theoretical work, the session then progressed on the court with practical demonstrations.
